Book of the Month

If your children like a Dystopian fiction based books a nice book series they might be interested in reading would be “The Hunger Games” by Suzanne Collins.

This book series follows Katniss Everdeen who lives in the city of Panem. This story follows Katniss on her journey when she volunteers in place of her sister who won the lottery to participate in a televised death math called the Hunger Games.

This is an exciting book that will keep you on your toes anticipating what will happen next!

October ILP Class!

 

This past weekend we had our ILP class! Thank you to the presenters who came to talk about Medical and Calfresh to the youth!! It was such as informative class, a great presentation and we will be informing all our other youth and workers!

Book of the Month

A good book series for children that was fun to read is the Nancy Drew book series! If you have children who love to read mystery themed books this book series may be for them! Nancy Drew is an 18 year old amateur detective who goes on different adventures solving mysteries. Let us know if your youth enjoyed the series!!

Book of the Month

If you are someone who really enjoys fantasy or Greek Mythology. A good book to read would be the Percy Jackson books! This book is great for young readers! The book series follows a young boy who¬† discovers he is the son of Poseidon. He gets sent to a camp for others like him (Demigods). Zeus’s master bolt has been stolen and Percy embarks on a quest with new friends to find the missing bolt and to catch who stole it. This book is a super fun read and if you do happen to read it we hope you enjoy it!
